Key Steel Products, Inc. commenced business in 1950 as a Specialty Design and Manufacturing Company for the Cargo Handling Industry at LAX. Since 1988, Key Steel has been largely involved in the Utility Fleet Industry, manufacturing complete interiors and exteriors fo vans, pickups and cab & chassis'. Key Steel has a 2.5 acre facility with space for 300 vehicles and a installation area for 80 vehicles; which includes a 35,000 square foot manufacturing facility.

For over 15 years, Key Steel has been the primary providers of interiors for Verizon Communications, formerly: GTE of California,
GTE Northwest and GTE/Hawaiian-Tel. For the last several years Key Steel has been the sole provider of interiors for Comcast, formerly AT&T Broadband and MediaOne. We have upfitted most of the vehicles for the Hawaii at our California facility and have shipped products to the Hawaiian Islands also providing installation and training upon request.

Recently we have gained our "Ship-Thru Status" from DaimlerChrysler for the Hawaiian Islands.
